TOUR ITINERARY
 DAY 1 ISTANBUL (B)
Arrival to Istanbul Ataturk Airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Istanbul.
 DAY 2 ISTANBUL (B L)
Visit Topkapi Palace, the home of the Sultans for many years, where you will find the biggest diamond in the world! Admire their Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts. See the Old City: the Byzantine Hippodrome, the Turkish Islamic Arts Museum, the Blue Mosque and the museum of the majestic 6th century Hagia Sophia Church. Continue on to the Underground (Cistern) Basilica. Drive by coach to the “Covered Bazaar” for a chance to do your shopping or browse through more than 4000 shops. Overnight at hotel in Istanbul.
DAY 3 ISTANBUL-CAPPADOCIA (B,L,D)
Take a morning flight to Kayseri. Continue on to Cappadocia Enroute visiting Kaymakli, the underground city carved from soft volcanic rock by early Christians. Visit the Pigeons Valley and the handicraft ateliers in Avanos. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Cappadocia.
DAY 4 CAPPADOCIA (B,L,D)
Full day sightseeing in the valley. Visit the natural Citadel of Uchisar, the Monastic Valley of Zelve, the valley of Fairy Chimneys and the caves of the ancient village of Avanos. Visit the great Goreme Open Air Museum with its glorious landscape created ages ago by volcanic eruptions and erosion. Explore the pottery and wine factories. Visit a traditional carpet factory and see how much labor goes into the making of beautiful Turkish carpets. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Cappadocia.

DAY 5 CAPPACOCIA - EGIRDIR (B,L,D)
Long distance transfer to Konya (ancient Iconium), capital of the Selcuk Empire. Enroute pass by Seljuk Caravanserai Sultanhani. Then visit the Museum of Mevlana, founder of the sect of Whirling Dervishes, and the Karatay. Leave for Psidian Antioch where St. Paul addressed the congregation in the synagogue on the Sabbath with his first recorded sermon. Dinner and overnight at hotel by the lake in Egirdir.

DAY 6 EGIRDIR - KUSADASI (B,L,D)
Leave for Pamukkale to visit the ancient Hierapolis with the famous necropolis, the renovated Roman Theatre and the famous white travertine shaped like Cotton Castles. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kusadasi.
DAY 7 EPHESUS - IZMIR - ISTANBUL (B,L,D)
Drive to Ephesus in the morning. Visit Virgin Mary’s House. Collect some holy water from the Sacred Spring. Then continue to the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the biggest and richest excavation areas of the world, to visit its agoras, library, Odeon, bath houses and theatre. Next stop will be the Basilica of St. John "the Evangelist" who came here with the Virgin Mary and wrote his Gospel in Ephesus. Drive to Izmir for a short tour and dinner. Take evening flight to Istanbul. Overnight at hotel in Istanbul.
DAY 8 ISTANBUL - END (B)
After breakfast transfer from your hotel to the Istanbul Ataturk Airport. End of services.
